The most comprehensive monograph on Piaseczno, prepared to mark the 500th anniversary of the town’s charter, granted by Prince Janusz I the Elder in 1429. Based on archival research, the author has reconstructed the town’s history from the time of the Dukes of Mazovia, through the Swedish Deluge and the Kościuszko Uprising, up to the local government of the Second Polish Republic. The cover features the colorful coat of arms of Piaseczno, reconstructed based on an image found in the Archives of Old Records.

A beautifully bound monograph for lovers of the history of Mazovia and Piaseczno.
