Our team are collectors, bookbinders and conservators. We work only with natural materials and traditional techniques, because we care about both beauty and durability.
We restore and conserve books, bind early and modern editions, and design decorative books and libraries for private and commercial interiors. Our mission is to protect the heritage of the book and pass it on to future generations.

What does Antykwariat Polski do?
We combine book collecting, traditional bookbinding and the restoration of books and paper objects. We also make book replicas and library panels for private clients, architects and hotels.
Do you make bindings to order?
Yes. We design and hand-make bindings for new editions as well as antiquarian and collectable books: from the design and choice of materials to decoration and personalisation. Binding a single book usually takes 3 to 4 weeks.
Do you restore old and damaged books?
Yes. We restore and conserve books, documents and maps, matching the scope of work to the condition and value of the object. We also restore family heirlooms whose value is above all sentimental.
Do you use real leather?
Yes. We work with high-quality natural leather. We do not use synthetic materials or imitations.
Do you help to build private libraries?
Yes. We advise on the choice of titles, bindings, style and arrangement, from single collections to entire libraries in residences and offices, including decorative solutions.
How long does a binding or restoration take?
A binding usually takes 3–4 weeks, depending on its complexity. Restoring a badly damaged book most often takes 2–3 months. We confirm the exact timescale once we have seen the object.
Do you work with interior designers?
Yes. We work with architects and designers on private and commercial projects: we supply libraries, decorative books and faux book panels, from concept to the choice of materials.
