“Płomyk” was an interwar literary and educational weekly for older children and teenagers, published by the Polish Teachers’ Union and edited at the time by Helena Radwanowa. This volume contains the first 22 issues of the 1932–1933 volume: poems, historical stories, geographical reports, and articles on science and technology.

Provenance: On the half-title page, there is a handwritten inscription in old-style ink reading “Wiśniowska Zawoja,” the same as on other volumes of *Płomyk* from this collection, which all come from a single interwar private library.

Title page with significant paper loss (tear), resulting in the loss of part of the text. The text block (over 520 pages) is intact; the pages have no tears and show natural discoloration. The binding is in good condition, with scuffing on the cardboard, dust on the spine’s cloth, and wear on the corners.
