“Nowe Prawo” is a Warsaw-based legal monthly published from 1945 to 1991. In 1954, it served as the official publication of the Ministry of Justice, the General Prosecutor’s Office, and the Supreme Court, and from 1958 onward, it bore the subtitle “a journal devoted to issues of judicial practice.”

The volume opens with the title page “Nowe Prawo. 1960 Annual. Indexes,” followed by an index of articles from issues 1–12 of 1960, arranged chronologically and listing the authors’ names, issue numbers, and page numbers. Among the authors are, among others, Zbigniew Resich, Leon Schaff, Stanisław Pławski, Witold Czachórski, Brunon Hołyst, and Jerzy Śliwowski. The texts cover, among other topics, the draft Code of Civil Procedure, Supreme Court case law, the public prosecutor’s office, and criminal law. This is a must-have for lawyers and collectors of the history of Polish law.

A clean copy. It underwent conservation treatment at the Antykwariat Polski workshop. The book block was mechanically cleaned, and the sections were re-sewn by hand, restoring the volume’s structural stability.
