Description

This collection of hunting stories takes the reader into the world of hunting and hunting adventures of the early 20th century. Adam hr. Rzewuski (1869-1929), son of Adam and Justyna, née hr. Rzewuski, a prominent writer and hunter, describes with passion and expertise his experiences of hunting various species of animals, from small game to large predators . He belonged to the same family as Evelina Hanska – wife of Honorius Balzac.

Each story is not only an account of a hunt, but also a deep reflection on nature, hunting ethics and man’s relationship with nature. The author shares his observations on the habits of animals, hunting techniques and the beauty of the landscapes that accompany hunting.
