Description

Two Face is an exhibition by Ballroom Marfa resident artists Aaron Curry (b. 1972) and Thomas Houseago (b. 1972). The Los Angeles-based artists are sculptors whose artistic practice takes a kind of “Janus-faced” view of form and creative process, while referencing the past and seeking new directions for the future.

The exhibition on display at Marfa is the result of a joint artist residency that fostered the development of an intense creative dialogue between the artists and allowed them to deepen their mutual inspiration.

The copy is hand-bound in leather in the bindery of the Polish Antiquarian, with the utmost care taken to ensure durability and security for generations.
