Binding: Period half-leather; title page with a missing section repaired with a strip of paper.

The second volume of the Kraków-based collective journal *Na dziś*, published by Jan Waligórski during the period of Galician autonomy. The journal covered a wide range of topics—literature, science, art, the national economy, trade, and industry—in the spirit of positivist organic work. The volume includes, among other things, scholarly dissertations, articles on trade and industry—including the oil industry—and literary texts.

On the front endpaper is a photographic bookplate featuring a portrait of the owner and the inscription “From the Library of Adam Ant. Kryński,” with the number 3677/III.1058. Adam Antoni Kryński (1844–1926), a linguist, was a co-author of the Warsaw “Dictionary of the Polish Language.” On the reverse of the title page and on the last page are crossed-out stamps from the National Library (duplicate).

Title page with a tear repaired with a strip of paper. Period half-leather binding.
