Leon Ulrich’s translation of Shakespeare’s plays, published with annotations by Józef Ignacy Kraszewski, served as the standard Polish edition of Shakespeare for decades. Volume III contains the chronicles “King Henry VI” (Part III), “King Richard III,” and “King Henry VIII,” while Volume IV contains two great tragedies: “Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” and “King Lear.”

Volumes III–IV bound together, for lovers of Shakespeare and classic translations.

Both volumes are in strong and consistent condition; the pages are clean, with no tears or missing sections, and the paper has a slight natural patina. The binding shows slight wear on the spine joints, and the gilt lettering is clear.
