An illustrated edition of the English playwright’s classic plays, edited by Jozef Ignacy Kraszewski. Published in three volumes, it contains Shakespeare’s most important plays, translated into Polish and complemented by rich illustrations. Kraszewski took care of the careful editing and provided the works with an introduction. The first collected edition of Shakespeare in Poland, it covers a wide range of works, from comedies to tragedies, presenting the full spectrum of the author’s genius.
