Description
Catalog of the monographic exhibition devoted to the work of Gustav Gwozdecky (1880-1935) – painter, draughtsman and graphic artist associated with the trend of modern art of the early 20th century. The publication accompanies an exhibition presenting the artist’s achievements against the background of European artistic trends of the era, with particular emphasis on his connections with Paris and the artistic émigré community.
The study, authored by Anna Linden, is of a museum and documentary nature. It contains analytical texts and illustrative material presenting selected works by the artist.
