Kopera, a student of Marian Soko\u0142owski, devoted himself to the study of Polish art and craftsmanship, and his book remains a fundamental work on Polish regalia.<\/p>\n<p>Provenance: on the inside of the front cover is an ex libris reading \u201cEx Libris Fr. Kotuli,\u201d indicating that it came from the collection of Franciszek Kotula (1900\u20131983), an ethnographer and museum curator associated with the museum in Rzesz\u00f3w.<\/p>\n<p>First edition, with an interesting provenance, for art historians and goldsmiths.<\/p>\n<p>The block is intact; the pages have small spots typical of paper from the early 20th century.
