The collection was first published in 1612 and expanded in 1622 in Pozna\u0144; this edition reproduces the text from 1622. The religious section contains Passion meditations, penitential works, and polemics against Protestantism, while the secular section features landowning, political, and occasional poetry, including depictions of the daily life of a Wielkopolska nobleman. Contemporaries placed Miaskowski on a par with Jan Kochanowski. The edition was prepared by Kazimierz J\u00f3zef Turowski (1813\u20131874) as part of the \u201cBiblioteka Polska\u201d series, in which he made Old Polish texts available to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Solid block.
