Kraszewski* in the 1878 \u201cJubilee Edition,\u201d prepared to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the writer\u2019s career; the proceeds were donated to the honoree, who was living in Dresden. The volume contains the first part of the novel *Jase\u0142ka: An Excerpt from the Memoirs of Ktosia*, written in the form of a diary by an anonymous narrator. It is an ironic portrayal of the life of the old nobility, with its customs and weaknesses. The title refers to Christmas plays and serves as a metaphor for the everyday \u201ctheater\u201d of provincial life. The second part appeared in Volume V.<\/p>\n<p>On the title page, there is a stamp that reads \u201cStanis\u0142aw Gorazdowski in Siedlce.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stains and discoloration on the pages.
