Zygmunt Kaczkowski, a popular novelist and author of tales about the nobility, was also a journalist who took part in the heated political debates in Galicia. \u201cTeka Nieczui\u201d is his political pamphlet, published in Paris in 1883 and addressed to \u201cLittle Poles and Red Rusyns.\u201d It addresses the Galician debates of the 1880s: autonomy, Polish-Ukrainian relations, and party platforms. Only Volume I was published. It was printed at the Polish Printing House at 53, rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs, which served the Polish \u00e9migr\u00e9 community.<\/p>\n
On the spine are the gilded initials \u201cS.T.\u201d of the first owner.<\/p>\n
The spine of the book has superficial scuffs. The paper is yellowed, with scattered foxing spots; the text is legible.<\/p>\n
