It describes and selects varieties of apple, pear, plum, sweet cherry, and sour cherry recommended for cultivation in Poland\u2019s climate. The 1929 edition was published following the exceptionally harsh winter of 1928\u20131929, which destroyed many Polish orchards, and proved to be of great practical importance in their restoration.<\/p>\n
