The second volume of the Krak\u00f3w-based collective journal *Na dzi\u015b*, published by Jan Walig\u00f3rski during the period of Galician autonomy. The journal covered a wide range of topics\u2014literature, science, art, the national economy, trade, and industry\u2014in the spirit of positivist organic work. The volume includes, among other things, scholarly dissertations, articles on trade and industry\u2014including the oil industry\u2014and literary texts.<\/p>\n
On the front endpaper is a photographic bookplate featuring a portrait of the owner and the inscription \u201cFrom the Library of Adam Ant. Kry\u0144ski,\u201d with the number 3677\/III.1058. Adam Antoni Kry\u0144ski (1844\u20131926), a linguist, was a co-author of the Warsaw \u201cDictionary of the Polish Language.\u201d On the reverse of the title page and on the last page are crossed-out stamps from the National Library (duplicate).<\/p>\n
