Adam Petri\u2019s 1515 Basel edition is considered a classic of early printed theological literature.<\/p>\n<p>A copy in period binding\u2014leather over boards, without a spine; endpapers from a parchment manuscript, reused by the bookbinder. The title page and the following page show tears and missing sections, a crossed-out annotation, and a smudged signature. Significant water damage across nearly the entire block (except for folios 80\u201389); localized paper rot in the final sections; on folios 3\u201319, purple stains at the level of the water damage. There is a smudged signature on the last page.
