A two-volume collection of sermons by Father J\u00f3zef M\u0119ci\u0144ski for every Sunday of the liturgical year\u2014two sermons for each Sunday\u2014which made it a practical tool for pastoral work. The texts belong to the tradition of late Baroque and early Enlightenment Polish homiletics, which combined moral instruction with the exposition of doctrine.<\/p>\n
The edition was published in Krak\u00f3w between 1782 and 1783 at the printing house of Anna Dziedzicka, a widow\u2014one of the active Krak\u00f3w publishing houses of the second half of the 18th century, which primarily printed religious and practical books. The numerous pagination errors in Volume 2 are typical of editions from that period and do not affect the completeness of the text.<\/p>\n
A clean copy; the pages are in good condition. The volumes have been rebound in half-leather; the blocks are stable, and all pages are present.<\/p>\n
