Its author, W\u0142adys\u0142aw Terma, is today a writer who has been almost completely forgotten. <\/p>\n
The book was published by Jan Konstanty \u017bupa\u0144ski (1804\u20131883), a Pozna\u0144 bookseller and publisher whose publishing house was one of the most important centers of the Polish publishing movement in the 19th century. \u017bupa\u0144ski published a total of about 600 titles, including works by Mickiewicz, Lelewel, and Kraszewski. A must-have for collectors of 19th-century Polish literature, enthusiasts of the \u201cKresy\u201d region, and bibliophiles who collect publications from \u017bupa\u0144ski\u2019s publishing house. <\/p>\n
This copy underwent conservation treatment at the Antykwariat Polski workshop. The book block was mechanically cleaned, and the sections were re-sewn by hand, restoring the volume\u2019s structural stability. <\/p>\n
