One volume contains two annuals of the official Collection of Laws of the Kingdom of Prussia (Gesetz-Sammlung für die Königlichen Preussischen Staaten), covering:
- 1839: Branch I, numbers 1-27
- 1840: Branch I, numbers 1-23
This is an original official publication containing legal acts promulgated by the authorities of the Kingdom of Prussia in 1839 and 1840, in German. The print documents the development of administrative, civil, military and economic law in one of the most important European countries of the 19th century.
