Description

An album dedicated to one of the most outstanding Polish painters of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries – Wladyslaw Podkowiński. The publication, authored by Wieslawa Wierzchowska, shows the life and work of the artist, who – despite his untimely death at the age of only 28 – made a permanent mark in the history of Polish art.

The album contains numerous reproductions of Podkowiński’s works, including his most famous canvas, Frenzy of Exultation (1894). In addition to oil paintings, there are also drawings and portraits, a testament to the artist’s extraordinary sensitivity and talent.

The presented copy is an edition published in 1981 by the National Publishing Agency. It has been bound in an elegant, handmade leather binding by Antykwariat Polski – a combination of traditional craftsmanship and bibliophilic aesthetics.

This is a unique offer for both collectors of Polish art and lovers of luxury book editions.
